Neil Birkin, a great darts player, TikTok influencer, Scolia ambassador, and friend texted me some time ago asking if I heard about the game Quarters. He had been trying out this quick, fun, and challenging game and asked if I heard about it and had plans for it for GoDartsPro.
I tried it out and also enjoyed it a lot. Originally the game was played for only doubles so I had to add an option for it to make is useful for more players on GoDartsPro.

The targets in the game are: 20, 6, 3, 11 and bull – and then in reverse – bull, 11, 3, 6, and 20.
Before starting the game you choose the difficult level. Choose if you want to allow hitting any field of the numbers or only Singles, Doubles or Trebles. If you go for Any fields or Singles when you go for bull, both 25 and 50 counts. For Doubles and Trebles you need to hit 50 (bullseye) to continue.

If you play the game and have a Scolia device connected you will not only have the darts automatically tracked for you. You will also get extra features which provides a bit of another dimension for your training.

When the game is finished you will also see the hit-map of your darts during your training session, and the average distance to the center point of each target.

In the end screen of the game above, you clearly can see that the player did quite ok with the target 20 and 6, but had some serious trouble with bull, number 3 and also a bit rough on number 11. Practise these areas a bit more and do the challenge again to see how you’re improving.

On the startpage of the game Quarters you also find a leaderboard for the game.
To not make it static and to force players to continue to practise the game, the leaderboard always shows the top results for the past 30 days.
This gives the players an extra incentive to come back and play the game every now and then.
